Full Life, Full Scope: Staying Human in Architecture
Overview
With workplace wellbeing being a 'trend', how can you genuinely lean into what feels kind, creative and collaborative in each season of a project or your career without burnout and ill health?
The aim of the session is to introduce newer ways to build on individual and shared lived experiences and understanding of good mental health and wellbeing.
What to expect - a solution, creative series of conversations about how knowing a bit more about our shared neuroscience can positively impact our own and team's wellbeing
Tools that will be used on the night include hands on making 'bag of creative surprises' resource bags, which open up conversations in groups to help them each and together come up with genuinely useful tactics for personal and team good health.
Things to consider
1. Taking a different mode of transport to the event
2. Bringing in an object or image that makes you feel happy about life, regardless of what is going on
3. Your own notebook and pen.
Materials will be provided, along with a small selection of herb teas and healthy snacks.
Do feel free to bring your own, dependent on your needs and preferences.
Please let the organisers know if you have any needs that our facilitator can adjust for to make the session as useful for everyone
Anna B. Sexton is a clinically trained solution-focused therapist, business growth coach and wellbeing mentor. She used her own experiences as a curator, artist and award-winning business coach in the creative arts, regeneration and mental health spaces to inspire personal agency, this session will leave each participant feeling confident, supported and a little relieved that they are not alone in feeling better at work.
