About this event
🌕 Full Moon Fire Ceremony & Prayer Circle
Honouring the Tenth Clan Mother – Weaves the Web
We gather under the Full Moon to honour Weaves the Web, the Clan Mother of the Tenth Moon Cycle, through a fire ceremony and prayer circle. Together, we will make offerings to the fire, bringing our prayers and dreams into form. All materials will be provided.
Each month, I share teachings from Jamie Sams’ 13 Original Clan Mothers. These stories invite us deeper into the sacred archetypes, helping us rediscover our gifts and creative powers through sisterhood and mythic wisdom. This circle is open to everyone ( Not just women)
🕸️ The Poem of Weaves the Web (Jamie Sams)
Gossamer threads of life hold me,
Perched between Earth and Sky,
Weaving the web, dreaming the dream,
Through the two worlds I will fly.
With you as my muse, Mother,
I create the substance of dreams,
Allowing the artist within me
To fashion my life with esteem.
I mold the clay of experiences
Into a sacred Medicine Bowl,
Capturing the essence of living
As it sings deep in my soul.
Your secrets of creation, Mother,
Have taught me when to destroy
The chains that have bound me,
Limiting the expression of my joy.
You have taught me how to labor,
Giving birth to the visions within,
Setting them free like silver arrows,
Kindling the fire of Creation again.
✨ The Teachings of Weaves the Web
- Guardian of the Creative Principle — guiding us to bring dreams and visions into physical reality with truth, integrity, and artistry.
- Keeper of the Life Force — teaching us to access vitality when fear, stagnation, or self-doubt block our creative flow.
- Mother of Creative & Destructive Cycles — showing when it is time to release or dismantle what no longer serves, and how to weave new patterns in their place.
- Steward of Survival & Integrity — reminding us that every web we weave connects with others, and what we create must be rooted in honesty, clarity, and service.
Symbols & Associations:
- Colours: sea green, turquoise, deep indigo
- Element: water (flow and nourishment) woven with air (vision), earth (form), and fire (inspiration)
- Animal Totems: spider (creation and weaving), butterfly (transformation), bat (rebirth), snake (shedding old skins)
Key Wisdom:
Weaves the Web teaches us:
- That creativity is sacred — every act of making, weaving, or building is a prayer.
- That the webs we weave must be spun from truth, or they risk entangling us.
- That cycles of creation include endings and beginnings — destruction is part of making space for the new.
- That when we commit to birthing our visions, Spirit lends us strength and clarity.
- That all our creations ripple outward, touching the webs of others — so integrity in what we bring into the world matters deeply.
We give thanks to Grandmother Spider, to the Earth, and to Spirit for reminding us of our power to weave beauty, truth, and transformation into the fabric of life.
