About this event
Come join us for a unique experience of deep meditation and zen like peace.
A Gong Bath is a therapeutic, harmonic experience where instruments are played over and around you.
Lay back on a mat and immerse yourself in the healing sound vibrations, relaxing and releasing tension. Allowing the mind to drop into a more peaceful space, creating room for greater awareness, clarity, creativity and calm.
The Full Moon is the perfect time to surrender, forgive and release what no longer serves us, so we can move forward unencumbered.
Drinking ceremonial cacao opens your heart and makes it easier to access your feelings and release something you might want to let go of, especially during Full Moons.
Feel your heart get lighter as you release unwanted things and make more space for joy, happiness and love.
Everybody is welcome - no experience is required.

Frequently asked questions
It is extremely rare for anyone to have an adverse reaction. As a precaution, it is not recommended for pregnant women in 1st trimester, epilepsy, if you have metal plates/ implants, recent surgery, broken bones or other major physical injuries, pacemaker/heart condition or tinnitus.
Instead of a meditative practice that requires you to sit up straight and have a point of focus such as the breath, all you have to do during a Gong Bath is listen. A Gong Bath can be helpful for anyone who wants to access the benefits of meditation or a moment of relaxation.
Please bring a mat to lay down on (we can provide mats upon request), a blanket and pillow for comfort. Dress comfortably. Drinking water to stay hydrated. An eye-mask is optional.
Lying on the floor is one way to experience a Gong Bath. If this is not possible, you are also welcome to sit on a cushion or chair.
Children of all ages are welcome, and many have enjoyed the experience. However for some children, being quiet and still for any length of time is difficult and movement, fidgeting or talking is disruptive to other participants. You know your child best. Please seek advise before booking.
Most people report of a “good night’s sleep” after a Gong Bath which often extends into a calm, centered feeling the next day. A Gong Bath can help you access a reflective, self-healing state and invite calm into your daily life, and further promote healthy sleep.
You aren’t listening to music in the formal sense as the sounds don’t incorporate melody, harmony, rhythm and arrangements. The less-structured sounds of the Gong help you listen without judgement. This removes the desire for reaction and analysis and allows you to go deeper into your experience.
