And all day event, aimed at 7-11yrs old, undertaking STEM activities to inspire them to try things at home over the summer break!
About this event
Once per half term we try to offer these additional all-day sessions. We will be running these sessions in the same way that we run school days; we will be treating the children as one bubble, there will be a theme for each day and we will be providing 2 activities and 1 science show, plus a Mars Yard talk and time to play with the exhibits. For these sessions only, we will allow you to drop children off and collect them at the end of the day. You may still join the session, should you wish to, but we ask that parents abide by the same rules that we will set for the children. You will need to provide packed lunches, drinks and snacks for your child/ren.
This half term we will be investigating activities that can be continued or replicated at home during the summer break.
The content will generally be aimed at KS2 (7-11yrs old) though can be suitable for slightly older children.
