As a grand finale for the academic year, we will be learning about the physics and engineering of launching waterbombs!
About this event
Water is Wet – as a grand finale for the academic year, we will be learning about the physics and engineering of launching waterbombs. The attendees will spend the day building and testing devices to launch waterbombs at opponents, as well as devices to protect them from soggy projectiles, concluding in battle of the wettest. Rain or shine, this will be going ahead – they are going to get wet either way. We would strongly recommend a spare set of clothes be provided alongside their lunch.
For these sessions only, we will allow you to drop children off and collect them at the end of the day. You may still join the session, should you wish to, but we ask that parents abide by the same rules that we will set for the children. You will need to provide packed lunches, drinks and snacks for your child/ren.
Due to the nature of the activities we will be doing for the 11+ students, these sessions will cost more to attend.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE BOUGHT TICKETS BEFORE YOU DROP YOUR CHILD AT THE DOOR!
