Come and hear Sophie Lewis talk about her fantastic new book with Verso, Full Surrogacy Now! Feminism Against Family. Sophie calls herself a 'writer-critic-translator-scholar hybrid' - currently based in the US, she is one of the most vital voices in contemporary feminism. Her book calls for a complete reorganisation of reproduction and care - she argues that taking collective responsibility for children, rather than only caring for the ones we share DNA with, would radically transform notions of kinship. Donna Haraway has called the book 'fully brilliant'.
