Description
This is a course for First Time Parents for women either on their own or with a birth partner/companion. It will run on Tuesday 10 and 24 April 9:30-12:30pm. You must attend both sessions. Venue: Birmingham Women's Hospital, Lower Ground Floor, Parent Education Room.
This class includes a tour.
The breastfeeding session will be on Thursday 26 April 10am-12pm (same venue as above).
This course will be taught by Isabelle Karimov.
We encourage all women booked at the Birmingham Women's to attend our free parent education classes. Please note you MUST be booked at the Women's to attend our classes.
Classes are completely free but must be booked in advance.
We aim to cover the process of labour and birth, stages of labour, when to come in and what to bring, getting labour started and medical induction, managing pain, self help techniques, birth, assisted birth, caesarean birth and lots of practical babycare skills. A tour of the delivery suite is included.
Try to attend your course between 30 and 35 weeks. You can book anytime before that.
