About this event
The programme we’re offering is the Marketing Manager Level 6 Apprenticeship, combined with optional CIM Level 6 Diploma in Professional and Digital Marketing. It’s designed for those who hold a Level 4 or 5 qualification in Marketing or Business (with a marketing focus) and wish to enhance their strategic marketing skills.
Just to clarify, Apprenticeships in the UK are not limited by age, job title, or income level. They involve learning while working, gaining practical skills and knowledge on the job, regardless of one's background or current position.

Duration: 18 months + 3 months EPA prep
Format: Online delivery + optional in-person workshops (London, Kent, Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham, York, Manchester; travel covered)

- Strategy & Planning – Aligning marketing strategies with business goals (16 weeks)
- Commercial Intelligence – Using financial & data insights (16 weeks)
- Customer Journey Optimisation (16 weeks)
- AI in Marketing (16 weeks)
- Optional: Brand Proposition, Content Strategy

Study Workload
8 hrs/week (during paid working hours):
- Classes: 2 hrs/week (recordings available; catch-ups provided)
- Reading & Quizzes: 3 hrs/week
- Reflective Reports: 3 hrs/week (workplace application)
Funding & What’s Included
Department for Education: Apprenticeship tuition (100% for levy payers; 95% for non-levy with 5% employer contribution – £450 total or £30/month for 15 months).
Kent Business College: CIM membership, exams, workshop travel, graduation extras — only for the first 10 learners per cohort.

Eligibility
- UK resident for the past 3 years
- Not enrolled in other government-funded training
- Self-employed individuals are not eligible for DfE funding
- Paid employment in England (normally 30+ hrs/week; minimum 16)
- Employer based in England and registered with the Apprenticeship Service
- Spend at least 50% of their working hours within England
