Functional Skills Math's and English - Expression of Interest

Our online Functional Skills training, delivered by Access Training, is designed for anyone who hasn’t yet achieved a GCSE in maths and/or English. It’s flexible, supportive, and tailored to your needs. You’ll have access to engaging online learning materials and online one-to-one tutoring sessions with a friendly, qualified tutor. Whether you're aiming to boost your skills for work, further education, or everyday life, we’re here to help you build confidence and succeed.

• You’ll need to complete an assessment to find out your current level in maths and/or English.
• The results will help us make sure you're on the right level course for your needs.
• Don’t worry – the assessment isn’t a test, just a way to understand where you're at.

This programme is fully funded through our youth employment initiative, Empowering Futures, to help you build the skills you need for a successful future.

We encourage those who have recently exited education or are in the early stages of their career to apply, but we welcome expressions of interest from individuals of all age groups.

This course is proudly delivered as part of Clarion Futures, the charitable arm of Clarion Housing Group that supports residents and local communities across the UK. Since 2017, Clarion Futures has helped thousands into work and training—supporting over 1,700 people into employment and delivering more than 5,000 training opportunities in 2023–24 alone.
