About this Event

It builds on the CIM's standard "Fundamentals of Marketing" with additional, enhanced content to specifically address the issues facing the print industry and the role of print in marketing integration.

Course Content

The course looks at the fundamentals of a marketing strategy, giving delegates a better understanding and fresh ideas on how to market their own business as well as discussing their customers needs.

The workshop highlights the growing importance of marketing in organisations today. It will introduce delegates to the key principles of marketing and demonstrate how these can be applied to improve marketing effectiveness and any organisation's performance.

Two vital elements of the course

  1. A better understanding of what marketing buyers need from printers in order to improve the ROI of their spend
  2. Insight into what new conversations could be started if suppliers address customer marketing needs, rather than just their print fulfillment.

Who is the course suitable for?

Anyone working in the Print Industry who is looking to enhance their marketing skills to help position and promote their own businesses, in addition to giving an understanding of modern integrated marketing practises used by clients in communications and promotions.
