Event description

Are you currently outgrowing your business premises?

Are you thinking of taking the plunge from renting to buying?

Are you considering becoming a landlord or growing your portfolio by investing in residential and commercial property?

Today’s economic climate can make any property purchase a daunting experience whether you are buying your first property, growing your portfolio or re-financing to another lender.

NatWest Business Banking are partnering with local property specialists, Ashgates Corporate Services Limited and Rigby & Co, to help you understand how to fund your purchase and all other aspects of real estate you may need to consider.

The purpose of this event is ultimately to bring together a range of professionals and property experts who have an intimate knowledge of the market and can support local businesses, particularly those who are interested in buying commercial or residential property, or would like to find out more about the local property market in general.

During the event we will discuss the following topics:

  • The history and local property market within Derby and surrounding areas
  • The valuation process
  • The benefits of buying vs renting including potential tax relief and how this will affect your accounts
  • The direct benefits to your business.
  • Types of property investments available
  • Ways to finance your purchase including how the bank are likely to assess a lending application
  • There will also be an opportunity to network with like-minded professionals and business owners into the evening.
