Event description

Description

Whether you are starting from scratch, looking to grow your income, or need to diversify your funding, a fundraising strategy allows you to focus your resources and make the most of the opportunities out there. This practical course will support you to identify what will work best for you, and give you the tools and skills you need to develop a fundraising strategy for your organisation or project.

This course is aimed at any member of staff, volunteer, committee member or trustee from an archives or records organisation with responsibility, or soon to have responsibility, for developing or carrying out fundraising activities for a archives project.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, including lunch.

We are very pleased to be able to offer all attendees a fully-funded place on every Fundraising for Archives course. However, as our events have running costs funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, we ask that you only register for a place if you will be able to attend on the day, and if you do become unable to attend, please give us as much notice as you can, so that we can make the most of all places available. If you need to cancel your place please email us at: fundraisingforarchives@nationalarchives.gsi.gov.uk
