Join us in Manchester for a two-day, in-person training on Fundraising for Muslim Nonprofits, hosted by Action for Humanity and the UMR Institute, in collaboration with the Muslim Philanthropy Initiative (Indiana University, USA).

This intensive programme provides participants with practical fundraising tools, leadership insights, and direct access to global experts in Muslim philanthropy and nonprofit management. It also counts towards the Certificate in Fundraising Leadership (CFRL), a new, highly regarded qualification from Indiana University’s world-renowned Fundraising School.

Your Trainers

Dr Shariq Siddiqui – Assistant Professor of Philanthropic Studies and Director of the Muslim Philanthropy Initiative at Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. With over 20 years’ experience in the sector, Dr Siddiqui is a leading authority on Muslim philanthropy and has held senior roles in national and international charities.

Dr Abed Ayoub – President & CEO of UMR, former CEO of Islamic Relief USA, and a seasoned expert in international relief and development. Dr Ayoub has served on key advisory bodies, trained leaders worldwide, and brings extensive knowledge in nonprofit management and fundraising.

Othman Moqbel - CEO of Action for Humanity, leading humanitarian work in over a dozen conflict-affected countries and reaching 15 million+ people since 2018. With 25 years of sector experience, he serves on the board of BOND, is a certified leadership trainer, and a regular keynote speaker at global forums.
