Fundraising Readiness

Making sure your organisation is 'fundraising ready' is essential for ensuring you are able to sustain your work.

This workshop will provide you with an overview of what your organisation needs to consider and have in place before it embarks on implementing a new fundraising strategy, what you need for a successful fundraising programme and take away actions on how to get your organisation 'fundraising ready.'

This workshop will cover:

  • An introduction to the current fundraising landscape.
  • How your business plan can help guide your fundraising.
  • How to construct a case for support.
  • Asset Audit - how to utilise your assets and use them to guide your fundraising.
  • SWOT Analysis.
  • How to utilise your fundraising history.
  • Competitor Analysis and positioning your organisation.
  • Managing your expectations in fundraising.
  • Next steps for your organisation.

This workshop is suitable for anyone who has responsibility to fundraise and is looking to implement a new fundraising strategy for the organisation.

Trainer Bio: Emma-Louise
Emma-Louise has over a decade of fundraising experience, working for a diverse range of causes, from large international charities including Christian Aid, to working as a sole fundraiser for small charities.

Within that time she has a implemented and delivered fundraising programmes covering all key areas of fundraising, from events, to trusts and major donors and everything in between. For the last five years, Emma-Louise has worked for small charities and understands the pressures and constraints they face. She has successfully established and implemented new fundraising strategies for organisations with little or no fundraising history and who often have had little available resource.

Emma-Louise is a consultant for small and medium-sized charities, helping them to implement successful and sustainable fundraising strategies- from getting them ‘Fundraising Ready’ to the implementation and evaluation.

We ask that all attendees arrive 15 minutes before the workshop starts to allow for registration and ensure a timely start and the smooth running of the workshop.
