Fundraising Volunteers at Sandbach Roadchef
Thursday, 20 August 2015 at 10:00
This year we're delighted to be the charity of the year (along with Breast Cancer Care) of Roadchef Motorways Ltd. As part of the partnership, we have the opportunity to hold fundraising collections at a number of different motorway service station sites.
How you can help
We are looking for three volunteers per day to help with holding a fundraising collection at both the northbound and southbound Roadchef services at Sandbach, Cheshire.
In addition to holding a collection within the service station, we'll be handing out information about prostate cancer.
We'll be holding collections on 20 and 21 August from 10am to 3pm, and would value any help that you can give us between those times.
There will be a volunteer leader there to help you set up and to show you what needs to be done.
You must be at least 16 to take part.
What you will get from volunteering
- You'll be part of a team raising vital funds for us, and raising awareness of prostate cancer
- A chance to meet new people and to work alongside like minded volunteers
