About this event

Science & Tech • Science

Fungi play a fundamental role in the development of life on this planet. Without them there would really be no humans, so we owe them a huge debt! But we're losing habitat for fungi at an alarming rate. How can we build a better appreciation for these beautiful and creative organisms? How can we cooperate with them to grow more vibrant ecologies in the places we live and work?

This is a workshop hosted by Myco: Manchester Mushroom Cooperative. The workshop will involve a mixture of talking and a slideshow, as well as activities on tables to get participants talking and thinking. You can find out more about myco via their website (www.mycomanchester.com) or their Instagram (www.instagram.com/mycomanchester)
