Join us in Leechpool & Owlbeech woods in Horsham, West Sussex to discover what fungi that can be found and foraged in the Autumn.
This interactive event is perfect for anyone interested in wild food, foraging & the natural world in general.
You will learn how to identify different mushroom species, the resources that are available to you, and give you the skills you will need to start in the world of foraging.
Limited to small personable groups only.
Join us and learn from a passionate and experienced forager who forages for mushrooms and plants almost every day.
The day will start at the picnic area, next to the leechpool car park.
Address - Leechpool woods car park just off B2195 (around half way), Harwood Road, Horsham, RH13 6DZ.
Please arrive before 10:00 for an introduction, we will be leaving at 10:30 and we should be returning back at 14:00 or shortly after.
No person under 18 unless arranged prior, well behaved dogs are welcome.

ACCESSIBILITY - Attendees need to physically fit as the route can be up to 4 miles plus there may be tripping hazards such as roots or downed trees.
We believe that everyone should have access to nature so if you feel like you may not be able to complete the route please contact us to see how we can help.
Please come prepared with weather appropriate clothes, water, a snack and walking boots or similar.
In the event there is extreme weather conditions which is a threat to life the event will be cancelled and attendees will be notified via email, alternative dates will be offered.
PLEASE NOTE: WHEN FORAGING FOR FUNGI ON YOUR OWN YOU MUST LEARN TO IDENTIFY THEM PROPERLY BY IDENTIFYING ALL KEY FEATURES BY USING A NUMBER OF RESOURCES.
