Monotype with textured surfaces and found objects with Sue Jones - £65

Explore the possibilities of textured surfaces and found objects to produce unique monotype prints. Work with residue ink from textured surfaces. Create ghost or shadow prints. Build your image by Layering, the use of masks and pochoir to produce beautiful unique prints. Combine with drypoint to build eclectic beautiful unique hybrid prints. An immediate and playful way of creating prints from organic materials to manmade objects. A fun experimental day that makes you look at the objects around you in a new way! Suitable for beginners and those wishing to refresh their skills. Includes all materials needed. You can bring your own textures to print from.

If booked in combination with Introduction to printmaking 27th March get £10 back when you start the course, making it £120 for both.

Course will run if viable numbers are achieved within one week of course start date.

The course is run from Sue's studio in Wimbish. There is plenty of parking, please note there are several steps into the studio, please advise of any mobility issues. Bring lunch, there is a cafe down the road, a short drive or ten minute walk (no footpath).
