Join us for a fun and creative workshop where you can create your very own fused glass Christmas Highland Cow. This event is perfect for unleashing your artistic side and learning the art of glass fusion.
Claire Myers, an experienced glass fuser, will guide you through the process.
No previous experience is needed (and no glass cutting and grinding is involved!) You will learn how to apply frit (crushed glass), stringers (glass rods) and shaped glass pieces to bullseye glass in order to make one charming and unique piece, measuring 10cm in diameter. You will even paint the features of the cow using special glass paint.
The workshop is £40 per person and is approximately 1.5 hours long (some participants finish earlier than this but we have allowed enough time to allow a relaxed pace for the whole class) . This includes all materials and equipment used.
Following the session your work will be taken away to be fired and a handmade wooden stand added. You will be able to collect from The Craft House about a week later.
