Event description
A workshop on policy plans and impact work and on future directions for research.

About this event

Workshop leads: Prof Sarah Hartley, with Prof Pascale Aebischer and Dr Karen Gray

Who is in this group? This workshop brings together the researchers who have examined ethical questions relating to ethical preparedness, ethical responsiveness and vaccine development and delivery. Researchers in this group have scrutinised legislation, policy responses and governance, and have carried out systematic reviews. Many researchers in this group have looked at the real-life impacts (e.g. on domestic violence, non-Covid healthcare, shaming, or life in lockdown) of policy decisions.

Purpose of the workshop: The workshop will enable you to find out about some of the key research impacts of projects related to your own and that you may wish to work with on the dissemination of your own research outcomes. It will help you formulate your policy impact plans, practice your ‘elevator pitch’ for your project’s impacts, inform the AHRC’s strategic thinking, and to help us support your policy and impact work as your project comes to an end.
