Future Homes Standard and the Home Energy Model Insights and Workshop
Overview
The Future Homes Standard, coming into effect in 2026, is a set of standards to complement the Building Regulations which will ensure new homes built from 2027 will produce 75-80% less carbon emissions than homes delivered under current regulations. The standard will comprise a series of amendments to Part F and Part L of the Building Regulations for new homes. Once the legislation is passed, all new homes will have to be built according to the standards, ensuring they are futureproofed with low-carbon heating systems and high levels of energy efficiency.
This legislation change will have significant impacts, and this workshop will prepare you for the upcoming changes and highlight implications for your organisation.
