Supporting Years 8 and 9 with Career Exploration
Thursday 26th March, 1pm-2pm, including a buffet lunch
This is an ideal opportunity to come and learn more about careers for the future, what the best opportunities are for those joining the work place in the 2020s and learning about how career exploration can start for students currently in Year 8 and 9.
You will also receive a FREE lesson plan to take back to school which will result in your pupils thinking about and debating key skills and considering their assumptions about the world of work. Pupils should come to the realisation that all jobs require key skills regardless of the different training and qualifications specific to each.
The Careers Investigator includes:
- A student questionnaire designed by Team Focus, a leading occupational psychology company.
- An individual student report
- An adviser report per student
- Lesson plans – opening up the world of work
Who is this event for?
Heads of Careers, Heads of PSHE, Heads of Years 8 and 9 who are involved in introducing the idea of career exploration to these year groups.
