What will the session include?

We are facing societal challenges that are complex, interconnected, difficult or impossible to solve. How should we think about leadership faced with these challenges? How do we respond to these “wicked problems” compared to other leadership challenges?

Our guest speaker, Keith Grint, Emeritus Professor, Warwick University, will be exploring ‘Wicked Problems and Leadership’.

This will be followed by a Q&A session, chaired by Dr Nina Ruddle, Head of Public Policy Engagement, Civic Mission Team at Wrexham University.

There will also be an opportunity to have your say about the future of leadership development in Wales and find out more about the plans for fully funded leadership development programmes in 2026.

Arweinwyr Cymdeithasol Cymru – Dyfodol Datblygu Arweinyddiaeth ar gyfer y Sector Cymdeithasol yng Nghymru

Ymunwch â ni am sesiwn fydd yn procio’r meddwl yng nghwmni’r Athro Emeritws Keith Grint o Brifysgol Warwick wrth iddo archwilio arweinyddiaeth a chymhlethdod.

Pryd: Dydd Mawrth, 20 Mai – 12:30–2yp

Beth fydd y sesiwn yn ei gynnwys?

Rydyn ni’n wynebu heriau cymdeithasol sy’n gymhleth, yn rhyng-gysylltiedig, yn anodd neu’n amhosibl eu datrys. Sut dylen ni feddwl am arweinyddiaeth wrth wynebu’r heriau hyn? Sut rydyn ni’n ymateb i’r “problemau drwg” hyn o gymharu â heriau arweinyddiaeth eraill?

Bydd ein siaradwr gwadd, yr Athro Emeritws Keith Grint o Brifysgol Warwick, yn archwilio ‘Problemau Drwg ac Arweinyddiaeth’.

Wedi iddo siarad, bydd sesiwn holi ac ateb, o dan gadeiryddiaeth Dr Nina Ruddle, Pennaeth Ymgysylltu Polisi Cyhoeddus, Tîm Cenhadaeth Ddinesig Prifysgol Wrecsam.

Bydd cyfle hefyd i ddweud eich dweud am ddyfodol datblygu arweinyddiaeth yng Nghymru a dysgu rhagor am y cynlluniau ar gyfer rhaglenni datblygu arweinyddiaeth a ariennir yn llawn yn 2026.
