Since our foundation in 2016 FinTech North has been the focal point for FinTech in the Northern Powerhouse, regularly supporting entrepreneurs at all stages of the FinTech life-cycle with relevant connections and business development opportunities.

As part of our work supporting the innovation ecosystem in Greater Manchester and beyond, we’re delighted to announce that our next conference in Manchester will focus on the future of payments. The Future of Payments is hosted in partnership with Discover Global Network.

Payments has long been an area of strength for Northern FinTech. Alongside a broad FinTech capability, Greater Manchester has a specialism in eCommerce and Payments, and as the birthplace of the programmable computer, what better place to explore the Future of Payments!

With the Future of Payments Conference we aim to provide a platform to share ideas, to contextualise Northern FinTech innovation in a global sector, to champion diversity in the sector and feature under-represented founders. We will shine a light on regional FinTech innovation and we will showcase some of the regions brightest and best start-ups and scale-ups.
