Routes to Market are a series of informative sessions designed by fellow industry professionals to help you understand the opportunities and routes to market available to independent content producers and to prepare you to take full advantage of these. These sessions lead to an exciting Futureproof Summit in February 2013; where you will have the fantastic opportunity to promote your company and products to leading buyers, investors, publishers and brands.

In this session we will look at life outside games, how the skills of game developers and digital companies are applicable to sectors in areas such as music, brands, social media, gamification and meta games and how other sectors and industries are looking to games and services as the new way to engage customers.
This workshop will look at the relevant industries around us in order to understand how to connect with them and learn which language they speak. We will examine how digital companies can increase their commercial opportunities by leveraging their skills and knowhow in different ways or in new areas.

Mike Haigh - Creative Director, Consultant
Mike is currently consulting as a Creative Director, specialising in mobile and free to play games. Prior to this, Mike spent over 25 years at the cutting edge of some of the industry's most revolutionary titles. As Senior Development Director for PlayStation's London Studio, Mike oversaw the development of the EyeToy and PlayStation Eye cameras as well as the multi-million hit-series SingStar, which continues to be the industry's most successful competitive singing game.
Mike and his teams have received numerous industry awards, including several BAFTA Games Awards.
Stephen O'Railly - Director International Sales, Mobile Roadie
A native of Dublin, although now London based, Stephen has worked in the fashion, sports and music industries for over 10 years specialising in mobile, online direct to fan engagement, working with some of the worlds leading sports teams, athletes, artists & brands. He studied Sound and Music Technology in Dublin.
Mobile Road is a mobile engagement platform that allows anyone to quickly and inexpensively create native iOS, Android and mobile web apps to connect with and engage their audience. Clients include the world's leading artists, festivals, athletes, sports teams, publishers and brands. A few to note are Madonna, Adele, The Beatles, Noel Gallagher, Reading & Leeds Festival, Liverpool Sound City, Cristiano Ronaldo, Everton Football Club and many more.
Martyn Davies - Developer Evangelist, SendGrid
Martyn is a creative developer based in London who currently works for Colorado-based email technology company SendGrid. You'll find him presenting, demoing, hacking and at hack days, conferences and meetups in the UK & Europe on a regular basis.
Additionally he is the central co-ordinator for the world renowned Music Hack Day events and produces several of them each year, including Music Hack Day London and the MIDEM Music Hack Day in Cannes. He is also the co-organiser of the SportsTech Hack Day.
A regular conference speaker and panelist, Martyn advises several startups on working within the music and entertainment space as well as providing guidance on technology and developer outreach.
Clemens Wangerin - Co Founder, Setgo Ltd
In his 20 years in the games industry, Clemens has been involved in almost every aspect of bringing games to market: from running promotions, customer service and product evaluations through to Product Marketing and across to heading up Sony's Studio Liverpool as Development Director of multiple Formula 1 and Wipeout games for several PlayStation platforms.
Since 2010 he runs Setgo, a Liverpool-based developer of innovative cloud-based services and technologies for game companies, including Pingflux.
