Event description

Description

London's Screen Archives (LSA) invite you to a day of case studies, innovative approaches, presentations and discussions about archive film and ‎its potential to bring together communities, build and inspire new audiences and showcase the value of archive collections.

Managed by Film London, the LSA is a unique network of over 65 fantastic London-based archive collections with a shared vision – to preserve and share London’s history on film. Iconic and memorable, archive film documents our past and present, informs our debates, inspires artists and filmmakers and shapes our future. This event will look at the power of archive film to tell stories, create a sense of belonging, inspire, celebrate, remember and build engagement with communities, reaching new audiences.

Whether you are an LSA member, a researcher, a filmmaker, or you represent a collection that holds archive film, please join us for a day of sharing good practice, discussions and networking to celebrate and unleash the potential of archive film.
