Join The Pool’s Sam Baker and an esteemed panel of futurologists, experts and social commentators at Twitter HQ to find out the opportunities that the workplace of tomorrow will bring and, more specifically, the skills you will need to succeed. On the panel:
Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE is CEO & Co-founder of Stemettes – an award-winning social enterprise inspiring the next generation of females into Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics roles. Anne-Marie is also a commissioner for Labour's deputy leader Tom Watson on his independent Future Of Work commission.
Belinda Parmar OBE is the CEO of The Empathy Business and pioneer of the world’s first empathy index, featured in the Harvard Business Review. Belinda leads a team of empathy geeks that measures and embeds empathy into businesses to make them more profitable. She is also author of Little Miss Geek and The Empathy Era, founder of the Little Miss Geek campaign.
Jessie currently heads up the engineering group based in the UK, where she oversees a variety of teams working on projects like TweetDeck and Twitter Live. Previously she was the Sr Director of Consumer Engineering at LivingSocial and the Director of Engineering at Lookingglass Cyber Solutions.
With a career spanning management consulting to advertising, Trevor has always been passionate about helping companies get ready for what’s next. The Future Laboratory is a global consultancy that specialises in transformational foresight, strategy and innovation to help businesses become fit for the future.
As EY’s Managing Partner for Talent UK & Ireland, Maggie is responsible for developing its people strategy while ensuring the EY culture is leading edge. She has been working in forensic accounting since 1995, specialising in dispute advisory. Maggie works flexibly, four days a week, is a diversity and inclusiveness champion and an accredited coach for high performance, with a special focus on learning and development.
