About this event
Future Ready is an in person information event for children and young people aged 14 to 25 with additional needs and or disabilities and their families.
The transition from childhood to adulthood is a time of significant change for all young people. For those with SEND, transition can be even more challenging and therefore needs careful preparation and planning. At this event you will be able to get valuable information directly from lots of different services, and talk to them about any needs, worries, ideas or questions you have. Statutory services will also be at the event ready to speak with young people and their families.

This is a short video made by young people about last year’s event. It shows people talking about how the event has been helpful to them.
People who came last year also told us the building we used made the event seem quite noisy. We are using a different building for this year.
Don't miss out on this chance to learn about opportunities and services, meet other young people and families, and prepare for your future.
