Work with others to build something amazing!
This fun, beginner-friendly event is your chance to team up and put your new tech skills into action. You’ll work in small groups to create a project based on a theme — with guidance and encouragement from mentors.
Project briefs to choose from will include:
- Creating a website
- Creating a Python Script
- Create a video game
This workshop runs from 10am to 3pm both days.
We'll also be providing light refreshments throughout the day; however, please bring your own lunch.
Who is this for?
Adults aged 18 to 30 who have basic experience with Web Development, Python or Game Development. You don't need extensive coding experience, but you need to be confident using a computer, browsing the internet and saving files.
No experience? Try one of our Intro Courses first.
What do I need to bring?
If you have your own laptop, please bring this with you, otherwise, we have a limited number of devices you can borrow on the day (please indicate if this is required on sign up).
Cost
This event is free to attend. We charge a £5 booking fee, which is refunded on attending the event. Or, if you prefer, you can leave it as a donation to MadLab CIC to support future community-led events. Refunds will be processed within seven working days. If you cannot afford a ticket, please email office@madlab.org.uk with your name and postcode, and we will be in touch.
