The aim of the half-day event is to stimulate ideas and actions through sector focused workshops, to build long-term relationships and networks between businesses, education and training providers. Alongside this, Business West training and business experts will be on hand to offer support and advice to help businesses think about how to achieve long-term staffing goals.

Businesses will be encouraged to think differently about tackling key recruitment, retention and training challenges, and learn from other businesses on potential best practice solutions.

Attendees will have the opportunity to think about how a more diverse and inclusive workforce can help accelerate their business’ growth, and receive guidance on how to make themselves more attractive and accessible to hard to reach groups in the West of England area. They’ll also be able to find out what support is on offer in the region.

Gavin Strange from JamFactory and Wallace and Gromit creators Aardman Animations, will recount his experience of developing his career in the creative industry, before some of the West of England’s brightest students and education providers will join the event for lunch to share some of their best work.

Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity to find out how skills can develop your business!
