About this event
Are you ready to make a difference?
Futuremaker is an immersive, hands-on programme that will spark your journey as a changemaker. Over 5 dynamic days, you’ll explore what it means to create positive change in your community, build confidence in your own ideas, and learn how to work with others to make things happen.
The programme blends:
- Workshops (3 days) – creative, practical sessions that build skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and enterprise.
- Live Client Challenge (2 days) – work with a real local organisation to tackle a challenge and present your ideas.
By the end of the week, you’ll walk away with:
- New skills you can use straight away in school, work, or community projects
- The confidence to take your ideas further
- A network of like-minded people who care about making change happen
- A nationally recognised qualification: the SFEDI Awards Level 1 Award in Enterprising Skills and Employability
Who is it for?Futuremaker is open to anyone aged 16–25 who wants to take the first step into changemaking. No previous experience is needed – just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm.
We’re running five Futuremaker cohorts between September and October 2025, thanks to support from the National Grid Community Matters Fund. Each cohort is a full 5-day programme, running Monday to Friday. When you book, you only need to select the start date of your chosen cohort — your ticket will cover the entire week.
