Event description

Description

It's taken a while but women's football is now firmly on the sports agenda. After the success of this year's World Cup, what's the future for the professional game that was banned for 50 years by The FA?

On the eve of Manchester's first derby between Manchester's women's teams, join The Guardian's Suzy Wrack, author Carrie Dunn and The Athletic's Kieran Theivam as they discuss the past, present and future prospects for the game. Further names to be announced.

All FWF ticket holders will also receive free admission to the National Football Museum on Friday 6 September, as well as entry on Saturday 7 September to take part in the museum's Wikipedia WSL Edit-a-thon. Find out more about that event here.

Please note that ticket prices do not include Eventbrite booking fees.
