The design, installation and maintenance of Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems is work that can be carried out by competent plumbing operatives and heating engineers who already have a knowledge of hot and cold water systems and central heating systems. The aims of the training course are to:

1. Understand the requirements of Part G of the Building Regulations relating to the design, installation and service and maintenance of Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems and how to comply with the Regulations paying particular attention to unvented cylinders.

2. Identify typical faults associated with the installation / maintenance of Domestic Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems.

3. Understand the impact of other Building Regulations as they relate to the design, installation and service and maintenance of hot water storage systems, in particular Part L1 and Part P.

PAYMENT TERMS

All invoices must be settled within 28 days prior to the course start date. Payment can be made by BACS or credit/debit card. Payment by credit / debit card can be taken on a verbal instruction. BACS details are on the invoice.

CANCELLATION CHARGES

All cancellations must be notified in writing.

• For requests to cancel a booking received more than 28 calendar days prior to the course start date, the candidate will be

• given a refund of any prepayment.

• For requests to cancel a booking received between 22 and 28 calendar days prior to the course start date there will be a

• charge of 20% of the value of the booking

• For requests to cancel a booking received between 14 and 21 calendar days prior to the course start date there will be a

• charge of 50% of the value of the booking.

• For notification of cancellation received less than 14 calendar days before the course start date, there will be no refund of

• any prepayment and the full balance will remain due.
