Gaelic for Work Purposes - Level 3

This 12-week accredited SQA course is suitable for those who have not previously studied Gaelic. Students will be given the opportunity to develop basic skills needed to communicate in everyday situations, and in vocational and professional contexts.

This online learning course allows you the opportunity to study at your own pace and in your own time.

Fee waivers are available for UHI, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Highland Council, NHS Western Isles and NHS Highland staff, as well as parents and carers of children in Gaelic Medium Education.

Cancellation Policy

UHI North, West & Hebrides reserves the right to cancel or defer the dates of the courses.

In the event of UHI NWH cancelling a course, delegates will be deferred to another (scheduled UHI NWH) course or given a full refund if UHI NWH are unable to provide a course on dates suitable to the learner.

In the event of cancellation of a course by the delegate, business or their representative, the following charges will apply:

More than 28 days notice – 0% of course fee charged

15-28 days – 25% of fee charged

7 to 14 days – 50% of course fee charged

7 days or less – 100% of course fee charged
