Gallery Babies: Beyond the Visual

By Henry Moore Institute

Overview

A new workshop to introduce our tiniest visitors (and their grown-ups) to sculpture!

Join us for a relaxed tour of the galleries to explore our new exhibition Beyond the Visual, then head upstairs to our Studio for a sensory play session.

Beyond the Visual features multi-sensory artwork made mainly by blind and partially blind artists, and will offer a great chance for grown-ups and babies to get hands-on with sculpture that can be touched, played and moved.

Upstairs in our Studio, babies can explore objects and textures related to Project Fire Flower by Collin van Uchelen, a series of sensory artworks inspired by his work as a firework designer.

We hope that these free sessions provide a chance for parents and grandparents to socialise and explore our exhibitions, while also providing sensory experiences for babies.
