To mark the 110th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings, at which the 6th Battalion of the Yorkshire Regiment (Green Howards) served, we are delighted to host John Wilson, education officer at the Gallipoli Association, in the museums Normanby Room, for a talk about the campaign.

The talk, entitled: Gallipoli 1915 - A Campaign doomed to failure, or a campaign almost won? - will look at how close the Allies came to pulling off a victory against all the odds.
