Gallus Glasgow Walking Tour
Event Information
About this Event
“Gallus” is a Scots’ word meaning cheeky, playful and rambunctious which, we think, describes our city to a T. Glaswegians don't care to be told what to do by the High Heid Yins of the city or the country.
So, come and discover the culture, the architecture and the heritage of our city on a leisurely stroll from Central Station, through the city centre, and into the Barras in the East End. On the way, hear about our city down the years as Glasgow grew from a small village to become the largest city in Scotland and earned us the nickname “The Second City of the Empire”. As we go along we’ll tell you the true story and a LOT of tall tales.
