Welcome to the GALvanise Female Creativity Fund
We're excited to launch our new Pivotal project with an inspiring afternoon to spark your ideas and imaginaton. This is a great opportunity to find out more and ask your questions about the GALvanise Creativity Fund, as we celebrate and connect creative women in Barking & Dagenham.
Meet like-minded local women and work on your creative mindset, with sessions on where and how to find inspiration, how to get started and overcoming creative blocks.
Funded by Arts Council England and initiated in 2021, Pivotal has evolved each year to suit the needs of local women. This season we're excited to launch the GALvanise Female Creativity Fund as part of Galleon Arts Centre's 2025-26 Pivotal programme. We are offering £500 plus a support package to 5 females in Barking and Dagenham who have a creative idea they'd like to bring to life. Running between November 2025 and March 2026, GALvanise is open to women over 18 with a connection to Barking and Dagenham. You do not need to be a professional artist or performer, but have a keen interest and passion in ANY artform. Find out more and apply to the fund at www.galleonartscentre.org/pivotal.
