Join The Gambian Maternity Foundation on Saturday the 22nd of October in Hours studio for a presentation of our experience of delivering much needed medical supplies to The Gambia in January.
The presentation will be a great insight into the wonderful vibrant West African country that is The Gambia along with the challenges it faces & how our work as a charity seeks to make positive impact there.
We will be telling our stories from the trip - from singing Hakuna Matata to 1000 school kids to visiting the clinics & hospitals to having 4 Gambian newborns named after us in a wild village birthing ceremony!
The presentation will also cover why there is such a need for equipment along with our charities plans for the future & finishing a Q & A session.
We will also be running a raffle on the evening with all of the proceeds going towards our large fundraising event this year, Big In The Gambia on the 26th of November which will also not be one to miss!
Come to Hours on the 22nd of October & hear about a wonderful vibrant West African country rich in the quality of it's people, but poor in the quantity of it's resources.
We are opening at 5pm with the talk beginning at 7pm. Feel free to come in before the talk to view some of our pictures from Gambia, have a drink & a chat with us :) We will be providing food & drinks also!
