Event description

Description

Have you ever wanted to make a video game?

Glasgow University's Game Development Society Game Jam is the perfect opportunity to do just that! You (alongside a team of up to 4 other people) have 42 hours to create a video game based on a theme decided on the day.

Never made a game before? We will try our best to help you learn how!

Can't program? Never Fear! Game Development requires of a number of skills from a variety of disciplines - Art, Programming, Sound Design, and a variety of other skills are all valuable assets to a Game Development Team.

Or perhaps you are already a seasoned developer with a number of titles already under your belt? Well come along and show off your skills, and help others to get into game development too!

Taking place in the williams room in the John McIntyre building. (The SRC building at Glasgow University, upstairs)

We look forward to seeing you there!

~~IMPORTANT~~
- You must bring your own laptop.

- Being a small society with an even smaller budget, we are limited in how much food we can buy for participants. While we will try our best to have some catering, it is recommended that you bring along some of your own food/money for food. There are vending machines on the lower levels of the building and shops nearby.
