Exciting camp for boys and girls P3 to Year 11
14th to 16th of August
10am - 3pm each day
At Ashfield Girls School Pitches

Cost: £10 per person for three days

The aims of the Game of 3 Halves are:

  • Use sport to promote respect for diversity and positive community relations.
  • Encourage young people to play sport in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.
  • Create new friendships and encourage young people to get active.

What does a Game of 3 Halves coaching session look like?

Welcome the boys and girls explain the concept of Game of 3 Halves. Mix the group up and break the group into 4 smaller groups. Rotate the coaching sessions of rugby, football, gaelic, tennis and basketball based on fun drills and games around the 5 zoned areas so that each group gets to play each sport. Young people need to bring a packed lunch for lunch time there will a short break where Coaches.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Going into to Primary 3 and upto those going into Year 11

My son or daughter are in Year 12, what age can you assist as a coach?

If your son and daughter would be interested in assisting with Game of Three Halves as a coach you can apply to help if they are going into to Year 12 or above. We need about 24 coaches to assist with superivsion of children, supporting the Professional coaches in delivery of sessions including taking part in drills, setting up equipment, working with other coaches and developing relationships with participants.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Park availble in school car park

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Sports clothes, raincoat, snacks, drinks, packed lunch and rain coat
