A special Game Republic, supported by Autodesk, business networking event - "Selling Your Game" held in partnership with the University of York's IGGI (Intelligent Games and Games Intelligence) PhD programme and the Department for International Trade, Exporting is Great initiative.
Ago Simonetta, ID@Xbox, will be joining us to talk about the latest opportunities for games developers with Microsoft Xbox One and PC, as well as how the ID@Xbox platform can help developers market their game. We will also hear from Stefano Petrullo, from Renaissance PR about the dark arts of PR and marketing, including social media, YouTube and events.
Plus there will be a talk from the Department for International Trade (DIT) Yorkshire & Humber* on the Exporting is Great initiative and how they can help companies access international events and more. There will also be a panel on PR/marketing featuring all our guests and the addition of Ric Cowley, News Editor at PocketGamer.biz at Steel Media.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to network during the event and afterwards and view the IGGI PhD projects at the Ron Cooke Hub, University of York.

IGGI's (Intelligent Games and Game Intelligence) PhD programme is an exciting chance to research cutting-edge topics, work with world-leading academics and top technology companies like Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe and 22cans. The four year programme will give you the practical skills and theoretical grounding to succeed within the games industry and in game research.
Applications for September 2017 entry close on Friday 27th January - and generally applications close in January for entry in September.

Game Republic, supported by Autodesk, is the largest industry-led professional games network for Yorkshire and the North of England.
