A gamelan is a collection of tuned bronze percussion instruments, played by a group of musicians - a bit like an orchestra of bells and gongs! It's a wonderful way to try out being part of something bigger, even if you don't consider yourself very 'musical' - each part is very simple.

Come and have a go at playing some simple tunes and hearing how the gamelan sounds all together.
