Join us for a cosy, feel-good evening of games, community, and kindness to support Emily, a young woman living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

Emily’s conditions cause daily struggles, immense pain, and constant fatigue. Unfortunately, EDS is one of the most neglected conditions in modern medicine, and treatment and support is near impossible to access in the UK. Having exhausted her options with the NHS, Emily is forced to fundraise for expensive but life-changing medical treatment to get her life back. All money raised by the event will go towards Emily's extensive medical costs.

Every ticket, raffle entry, and share of our event helps bring her at least one step closer to getting the care she so urgently needs.

What to Expect

• A relaxed space to play your choice of board games from The Arcanist’s amazing library!
• Meet likeminded people, make new friends, and have some fun while doing good.
• Your £9 ticket includes entry + one raffle ticket for prizes donated by local businesses.
• At 7:30 PM, join our special competitive game for a chance to win a prize and ultimate bragging rights!
• Learn a bit more about EDS, a rare and often misunderstood condition and how small acts of support can have a big impact.

Drinks and snacks will be available all night from The Arcanist’s Tavern bar.

About Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS):

EDS is a genetic disorder that affects all the connective tissue in the body. Essentially, the scaffolding that holds the body together is faulty and unstable. This can cause a whole range of complications, pain, co-morbid conditions, and - in severe cases like Emily’s - instability of the neck and spine. Thought by some experts to be one of the most neglected conditions in modern medicine, many EDS patients in the UK struggle to access help through the NHS and are forced to fundraise for help abroad.
