My charity ball in support of the Stroke Association is going to be held on Saturday 30th September 2017 in the Face2Face room at Alea Casino, in the centre of Nottingham.

In honour of my Nan it will be a 1920s ‘Gangsters and Molls’ theme, so dress to impress.

There will be drinks on arrival and a 3 course meal with wine.

The menu will be:

  • Chicken liver parfait
  • Slow roasted blade of beef in rich red wine sauce, served with market seasonal vegetables, horseradish and cream potatoes
  • Chocolate Gateaux with cream

All dietary requirements can be catered for.

The host for the evening will be Mark Dennison from BBC Radio Nottingham. There will also be a charity auction hosted by Charles Hanson of BBC’s Bargain Hunt, Antiques Road Trip and Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.

Luke Wigman is the guest speaker for the evening, Luke is an amazing and inspiring person who has acheived so much in the face of adversity. Luke strongly believes that, above all, having the right mindset and positivity throughout life is vital to success, and this message is powerfully delivered through his speaking.

Roy Bond Magician will be on hand throughout the evening to entertain us all with his amazing close up magic.

A DJ will be playing your favourite dance music from the 1920s, all the way up to the modern day, until 2am.

The evening will start at 7pm and finish at 2am but you are more than welcome to try your luck on the tables in the Casino downstairs.
