Does your garden need more excitement or interest?
Would you like to make better use of your space and choose plants that will give you year-round colour?
This evening class, running on four Thursday evenings 6.30 - 8.30pm 2 - 23 March, will take you through some of the basic principles of Garden Design so that you can improve your own garden. It will include the following topics;
- Garden Design styles and techniques
- Selecting and combining trees, shrubs, climbers and perennial plants
- Plants for places (shady, dry, boggy etc.)
During the course you will select a border in your own garden to design or re-design and create a new planting plan applying the principles you have learnt.
The fee includes all materials.

Sue is qualified and trained horticulturalist and teacher managing and delivering therapeutic horticulture sessions and running gardening courses and workshops for adults, children and those with learning disabilities and mental health problems across Lancashire, Salford and Manchester . Her aim is to make gardening fun and help people at all levels develop their skills and knowledge.
