Can we picnic in the gardens?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The gardens will open from 5pm for ticket holders who’d like to bring a picnic and enjoy it on the front lawn of Friars Court. The performance area in the back garden will open at 6:30pm, giving guests time to set up their seats ahead of the 7pm start.

Can we picnic where the performance is going to be held?

Accepted Answer

Guests are welcome to enjoy a picnic on the front lawn before the performance. However, due to the size of the back garden and performance area, and to ensure that everyone can see and hear the show, picnicking will not be allowed in the performance area.

Question 3

Do you provide seating?

Accepted Answer

We do not provide seating, so please bring your own chairs, cushions or rugs to sit on.

What if it rains?

Accepted Answer

As this is an outdoor performance, the show will go ahead come rain or shine. We kindly ask guests to come prepared with appropriate clothing and rain protection. Unless the event is officially cancelled, we regret that refunds cannot be offered.

Question 5

Are dogs allowed?

Accepted Answer

To ensure the performance runs smoothly and to avoid any interruptions or distractions to either the actors or the audience, we kindly ask that dogs are not brought to the event - except for assistance dogs, who are, of course, welcome.

Do you offer concessionary tickets?

Accepted Answer

As this is a village fundraising event, we do not offer concessionary tickets.

Question 7

Do the actors use microphones?

Accepted Answer

No, the actors do not use microphones or voice amplification during the performance.
