Description

Learn about wildlife in your garden. Find out how to encourage helpful wildlife in your garden. Increase your enjoyment of your garden.

A course spread over 4 friday mornings from 21st April to the 12th May. You can book individual sessions or sign up for all four (Buy all four and receive £20 of Whittle & Spark gift vouchers, redeemable on any Whittle & Spark event).
A new topic each week:
21st April:
Getting the plants right for wildlife. What to grow and what to avoid.
28th May:
Bees, butterflies and other pollinators. Flowers for foraging bees and shelter for nests for non-stinging native solitary bees and bumbles. Make a solitary bee home to take with you.
5th May:
How to make a pond. Learn about the animals that visit ponds and what else they need around the garden.
12th May:
Birds, bird feeders and plants for birds. Hedgehogs in the garden. Find out about hedgehog street.

Meet like minded gardeners.

£30 a session or four for £120 and receive two £10 vouchers for use on any Whittle & Spark events. One voucher per person, per event.

Lead by Frances Halstead - A wildlife specialist and keen gardener with years of experience as an ecologist and course leader.
