Do you have a shaded area in your garden that you want to improve? In this down-to-earth masterclass learn how to make the most of shady spots and bring a new lease of life to your garden.
Your day will be spent in the classroom and the garden. Learn from Nick Haworth, head gardener, as he shares his experience and answers your questions. In the garden you’ll see shaded areas in a new light and see how the theory is put into practise.
This class will benefit experienced gardeners and novices alike. It will include advice about soil types, plant choices and maintenance. You’ll learn how to work with the changing seasonal light and plan your shaded garden for prolonged interest.
You will come away with a sound understanding of how shaded gardening work, as well as inspiration and ideas to put into practise in your own garden.
Nick Haworth has considerable experience includes working at some of the most renowned gardens in the country, including the huge woodland garden at the National Trust’s Greenway, South Devon.
