City of London is place where people make money. With its imposing monuments and skyscrapers in mind you would not expect that there are places which provide safe haven and are refuge from stress the everyday life in the City brings.

There are around 200 green spaces - gardens, piazzas, squares - where you can sit down and enjoy the nature. These are places where nature finds refuge, too.

During this walk we will visit some of the most famous City Gardens and some of the unknown spaces, both with fascinating stories. We will stroll among trees and flowers and look for birds and beetles thriving among church ruins, modern office blocks and busy streets.
